Currently Searching for the Mote name
I have data that gets the family tree back to Ohio around 1850 and some more that goes back to 1730 - but here there are a few doubts about just what I have. My grandfather did most of the work around 1910 - but I just picked it up -

A beginner with some good data in search of more.

My good data is back to

John Silas Mote married to Sarah Ann Dunlap and their 10 children - Joseph Martin, Amanda Jane, William Silas, Mary Esther, Sarah Etta, John Henry Harrison (my grandfather), James Irven, Stella Elizabeth, George Wesley, Viola, and Myrtle Evaline -- John's father was Silas Mote b 8/14/1805 married to Sarah Hall ( but here there seems to be some conflict and I need help with this data)

I have more data that I would be glad to share to Mote folks.
