| I am researching the Mote Family from Alabama, Georgia and South Carolina areas. My Great Grandfather was John Wesley Mote of Walker County, Al. His wife was Mary Elizabeth Engle Stockman. I am looking for more information to further my search.Their son was Oliver Thomas Mote. He had brothers, Richard Mote and TJ Mote both who served in the Civil War with Company k, 40th Ala. Reg. Infantry. |
