This past summer( July 22-24), the KENAGA family held its second reunion in Goshen, Indiana. Hosts for the reunion were Bill and Lucy Long and their daughter Pat Mote. Relatives came from Florida, Tennessee, Wisconsin, Canada as well as Elkhart County, Indiana. Day one was a hog roast with entertainment around the pool at the Long home. Day two was a caravan to Bonneyville Mills, Christian Hertzler's home, Pretty Prairie Cemetery and where Mary Alice Plank lived. Lunch was in Shipshewana, Indiana. That evening a meal was served in a Amish home in Honeyville, Indiana. Again, entertainment in the Long home with Wayne Gorrell and Jim Long. Sunday, was an Amish Brunch at the County Seat Restaurant in Goshen. |
