| The Mowery, Cruse & Pooles all came from North Carolina and settled in southern Illinois. The Cannons came from South Carolina and settled in eastern Missouri. My Mowery descendants are: Rudolph Mourer, Peter Mourer, Isaac Mowery, William Junius Mowery and Charles William Mowery. My Cannon descendants are: Jesse Cannon, James Cannon, Vincent Cannon, Daniel Ward Cannon and Lena Caroline Cannon. My Cruse descendants are: James Cruse, Peter A. Cruse, Peter Milo Cruse & Hazel Cruse. My Poole descendants are: John Poole, Jacob Houston Poole, Jacob Pamster Poole and Clara Mabel Poole |
