4. DEACON JEREMIAH⁴ BEAN (JAMES³, JOHN², DONALD¹ MACBAYNE)⁵⁵ was born April 09, 1707 in Kingston, NH⁵⁶, and died Abt. 1796 in Deerfield, NH⁵⁶. He married SARAH BLAKE⁵⁷ November 13, 1729 in Hampton Second Church, Hampton, NH⁵⁸, daughter of PHELEMAN BLAKE and SARAH DEARBORN. She was born February 24, 1706/07 in Hampton, NH ⁵⁹, and died December 29, 1790 in Deerfield, NH⁶⁰.

Jeremiah and Sarah were devout Christians; he was a
Deacon in the Church at Brentwood. He was the main
influence in building of the the 2nd church in
Brentwood, the "Gully Church"

Jeremiah received a Royal Land Grant from the King of
Eng for a section of land at Candia where he built a
cabin and lived there until 1735 when Royal deed was
delivered to him. He passed it on to Daniel S. Bean
[who d. in 1905] of Candia.

Jeremiah was a well to do man. He bought each of his
sons farmland in Candia, NH when they married. They
were all adjoining neighbors. Benjamin's land was
actually in Deerfield.
