Cora's father married Martha Jane Mozley, Daughter of Miles Garth and Sarah Humphries after Cora's mother died.

Notes for OSCAR MARVIN HARPER:
Extensive write up in Atlanta and It's Environs, A Chronical of It's People and Events, 1954, Family and Personal History Vol. III, pg. 376. He was in the building trade and rose rapidly in his field. He was a staunch supporter or Unionism and active in labor circles. In 1945, he became City Building Inspector of Atlanta and led the battle for adequate fire regulations, Large-scale smoke abatement, and a slum clearance program. When he died, City Hall was closed in his honor.
