Well, I just started my family tree and search of my husband's and my relatives. I figured a few of the name will glean me much info because of their uniqueness, but this may also be working against me. Unfortunately the CD's that just came with the Family Tree package are rather useless to me, as only 1 of my relatives ever lived in the US, but I'm hoping to spend some informative time in the Archives in Edmonton.
If you happen to think you might have info, please feel free to e-mail me, the two main names in my search right now are Chopey (spelt Czopej before the change) and Mryglod.

Well, after having bugged a few sets of grandparents, I have now been able to trace Mryglod back to John and Katherine Mryglod who lived in Myakis of the Western Ukraine. Two of their sons, Steve (my husbands great grandfather) and George came over to Canada. Steve in 1905 and George in 1914, Katherine and children Nick and Ann died in 1905 after Steve came over. George's last location was New Westminister in 1914.
