Our MUHICH, LAPSANSKY, HOFFMANN, PERRY & ALEXANDER families

My family surnames are;
ALEXANDER, BEAN, CLEGG, DAVIS, DUNAGEN, HOFMANN, GUEST, LANE, LAPSANSKY, MUHICH, PERRY, PUNG, REID, RUCKER, SHAW, TINSLEY, UHLENKAMP, WILSON.
They are from; Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Texas, Illinois, Minnisota, Colorado & Washington.

I am particularly interested in locating information that can prove the parents and birthdate of William PERRY. b: 1803 in South Carolina (per the 1850 census). He married #1 Prudence Bean in Chambers County, Alabama in 1835. They had 3 children; James, John & Mary Elizabeth. #2 wife was Margaret(Peggy) Clegg married about 1845 in Randolph County, Alabama. They had 4 children; William Riley, Robert, Joseph, & Martha.
William died in Drew County, Arkansas in 1852. Margaret died about 1863 in Texas.


Other names I am researching (not related to me but are for a book I am writing on a historical event that took place in Wasington Terriroty in 1864) are;
ADAMS, BAKER, CHENEY, COFFIN, GALLAGHER, HEAD, HINKLEY, MURPHY, ORDWAY, PEARSON, STEVENS, STICKNEY.
They are from Massachusetts, Washington, Oregon & California. These names were all associated with a group called the "Mercer Girls".

And from Victoria, B.C., Canada (1870-1916) I am researching Capt. Henry Smith and his wife Catherine. She was also a "Mercer Girl".
