| I am researching the Muise family From Amiraults Hill Nova Scotia Canada 1755 till 1950. My Father Lawrence, his father Remi, his father, Gabriel, his father Charles etc. All born NS Lawrence migrated to Massachusetts, USA circa 1916 and never returned. His mother was Alice Amirault, died in the 1930s and is buried in Stoneham, Mass. USA. Lawrence married Margarett Deveau from Bellville, Quinnin or Tusket NS. Her mother was Lena Murree and married Alexander Deveau circa 1900. I am searching for the siblings and children on my mothers side. They would be the Murree's, Deveau's and Blanchard's Circa 1806 thru 1920 and of course behond. My fathers side is pretty well established with the Amiraut's and Doucett's. I am in need of and all information on my mothers side. I might add, my mother was the only Deveau to my knowledge to migrate to the USA. She was a twin b 1912, her twin was Lottie Mildred. There were 5 other sisters between 1913 and 1918, there was also a son Joseph Walter killed in WWII age 24 and buried in a military cemetary in Italy. Helena was killed in an auto accident arround Bellville in 1958 and is buried at St Anne's. Any information on this side of the family would be greatly appreciated. God parents of these children are Comeau's, Muise's, Leblanc's, Dulain's, Deveau and Dugas. Thank you all, your help will be appreciated. |
