Anton Gunderson and 5. Inga Petrea (Patricia) Pederson. He married 3. Dorothy Evelyn Eastman 28 July 1931 in Sandpoint, Bonner, Idaho11.

      3. Dorothy Evelyn Eastman, born 29 February 1912 in Shell Lake, Washburn, Wisconsin12; died 16 December 1946 in Spokane, Spokane, Washington13. She was the daughter of 6. Frank Labertas Eastman and 7. Maude Ann Thomas.

  i.   Frank Anton Gunderson, born 14 September 1932 in Sandpoint, Bonner, Idaho14; married Shirley Langei 18 August 1956 in Seattle, Washington15; born 17 October 1934 in Fargo, North Dakota16.
  ii.   Alfred Gunderson, born 23 March 1934 in Sandpoint, Bonner, Idaho17; died 09 June 1957 in Hot Springs, Sanders, Montana18
  Notes for Alfred Gunderson:
Alfred was buried close to his brother, Kenny, in the Plains Cemetery in Plains, Montana.

  iii.   Fredrick William Gunderson, born 19 May 1936 in Dover, Bonner, Idaho19; died 28 November 1995 in Lakewood, Jefferson, Colorado20; met (1) Cecila Rivera 1964 in Austin, Texas; born 10 January 1944 in Corn City, Texas; married (2) Velma Jean Ralph Shaver 1970 in Denver,Colorado.
  Notes for Fredrick William Gunderson:
Fred was a lung-transplant recipient, which added about four (4) years to his
life. He was able to see his first grand-daughter born and I got to spend time
with him the year before he passed away. We had about three (3) months to-
gether, during which time we got to know one another and make up for the time
lost since my adoption.
Fred loved fishing, hunting, and the great outdoors! Family was important to
him, and he loved his family dearly.
After cremation Fred's ashes were taken back to Sandpoint, Idaho and scattered over the lake at one of his favorite fishing spots.

  Notes for Patricia Rose Gunderson:
Adopted by John and Dorothy Hayes Martin in May, 1947. Adopted while
living in Spokane, WA. Mother died in childbirth. Taken to Minneapolis, MN
where we lived for a short time. Moved to Spencer, WV in late 1947, where
my father, John Martin, started the Spencer Mfg. Co., which manufactured
sweaters. Grew up in WV, attending grade school in Spencer, attended Spencer High School for two years and completed her high school years at De Sales
Heights Academy in Parkersburg, WV.

  Notes for Richard Eugene Gunderson:
Richard Eugene Martin was born Richard Eugene Gunderson in Sandpoint, Bonner Co., Idaho.
He was adopted by John E. and Dorthy Ethel Hayes Martin in May, 1947. Two sisters, Patricia
Rose and Alice Marie, were also adopted by the Martins. Richard and his sisters moved to
Minneapolis, MN for a short time, and then to Spencer, Roane Co., WV. John Martin opened a
manufacturing plant in Spencer and the family was raised here. Richard attended grade school
for a time in Spencer, then attended Newcomerstown Military Academy in Newcomerstown, OH
until he reached the high school level. He then attended Greenbrier Military Academy for about
two years, and completed his high school education in Florida.

Richard joined the US Navy at age seventeen, directly out of high school.

  viii.   Steve Allen Gunderson Reid, born 16 December 1946 in Spokane, Spokane, Washington25; married Beverly Carol Jones 08 August 1981 in Birch Bay, Washington26; born 03 January 1943 in Boston, Mssachusets27.
  Notes for Steve Allen Gunderson Reid:
Adopted in the state of Washington by Robert Allen and Erma Reid in 1948 at the age of seventeen months. He was raised and attended school in Lewiston, Idaho.


When Steve married Bev he became the father of her two young daughters and was instrumental in raising them to adulthood.
