The Roots From Which We SprangUpdated September 5, 2000 | This page is dedicated to my son Michael L. Mullins and to my twin grandsons Jacob Thomas and Lucas Michael and their baby brother Nicholas Allen who was born into this family tree on December 25th, 1997. So that they may know their roots. The geneology research is on the lines of Thomas Norman of Virginia and North Carolina and his son Eli Norman that left North Carolina, to Greenville County, South Carolina and then to Anderson County, Tennessee and his son Henry B. Norman of NC to Southern Illinois, the William Groves family, the George Baker and Cazair Mulwee lines from NC, the Mann and Thaxton lines from Virginia to Illinois and the Abraham Sanders lines from Benton County,TN all who settled in Williamson County Illinois. On the Mullins side, I have my Grandparents, Henry Harrison Mullins and Janie Margaret Wadkins. Henry was the son on John Mullins of Johnson County, Illinois. Janie was the daughter of William or Willie Wadkins of Anna, Illinois. They are both buried in Carbondale, Illinois. |
