| I am looking for information dealing with the following surnames:Munson, Deuel, Reid, Jeffers, Shutack, and Melnicak. The Information on the Munson Surname should be for the New England area of the United States. There are also Munsons in Arizona (but I know all the ones here :) Prior to the immigration of the Munsons to the US, they were reported to be either Scandavian or German in ancestry (though I don't know for sure). The Shutack surname is linked with Plazak (My Grandmother-in- laws Maiden name. Both are allegedly Slovak in nature.) and also ties in with Melnicak (which according to my sources, is Austrian-Hungarian). I will share any information I have if requested.
