I am researching the John Barkwell (m Elizabeth Hole) branch of the tree. He immigrated to Elizabethville, ON from Devonshire, England in 1832. I am also interested in the Bowheys, specifically John Henry Bowhey who Immigrated (possibly from London, England) in 1857 or 1859. His son, Samuel (m Margaret Agnes Scott) was my great-grandfather. Also, the Gunns who lived in Victoria County, ON in the 1800's. The first clue that I have of them, is that James Gunn (m Hannah Miller) operated a store near Norland, ON. in the 1860's. Any help would be greatly appreciated. And if I can help others, I would be most happy to do so. |
