Credits for information in the McInnes outline must go to Shirley Campbell Perkins and Dorothy Omi Hoagland Long who gathered the "Blue Book", Our Search for Settlers, Savages, Scalawags, Saints, VolumeIII, in 1978, which became the skeleton for this outline. Shirley in her book credits her mother, Velma Maude Hoagland Clemens Campbell, with giving her a start in her research.
