The bearded man in the middle is John Rath, Sr. My grandmother, Dorothea Rath Brinkman, is in front of him to the left with another woman between them. I suspect this photo was taken prior to my grandmother's wedding in 1911 as my grandfather is not in the photo. The woman to John's left is Albertina "Betty" (according to my Mother and Aunt Betty) I think the woman to the left of Betty may be her mother. Most of the children are wearing flowers so this may be a Mother's Day photo. - Kemett Cebert Messenger, Jr.
