Murray Family Tree: This tree includes paternal ancestry of the Murrays from Scotland. Alexander Murray (born circa 1817 - 1820, Wick, Caithness) married Catherine Oman (born April 1817, Dunnet Caithness)in Nov 1840. Alexander and Catherine had 7 children. Please review the attached (all-in) family tree if you have connections to Murrays' from Wick or Omans' from Dunnet. I am trying to find any concrete information about my great great Grandfather parents. Alexander was born in the Louisburgh section of Wick but, as his birth/christening is not registered in the official Church of Scotland's OPR, my research is at a temporary roadblock. Wienand/Mellet Family Trees This tree includes maternal ancestry of the Wienands from the Waldeck area of Germany and the Mellets from the Langeudoc area of southern France. Both families emigrated to South Africa. |
