In Memory of Philemon Dickerson who with his brothers Nathaniel and John Dickinson emigrated from England and landed in Massachusetts in 1638. He was admitted a freeman of Salem in 1641 and removed to Southold in 1646 where he died in 1672 aged about 74 years leaving two sons Thomas and Peter.
