The Reverend Doctor Robert Fulton was appointed by Privy Council on September 8, 1614 to be chaplain to Lady Arabella Stuart when she was prisoner in tower of London because of her marriage to William Seymour. He later settled his family on lands of the Seymours at Lisburn Ireland.
He descended from Ayrshire Fultons who descended from Fowltons who were originally the De Fultownes from Normandy (abt. 1066): source The Fultons of Atlantic Canada.

Notes for George Morton:
A Pilgrim who was a separatist leader in Holland, George arrived with his wife and children at Plymouth colony on the ship Anne in 1623, but died the next year.
He is variously claimed a descendant of Mortons at Bawtry and/or Austerfield, Yorkshire.
Another DOB sometimes given is 1581.
Dictionary of American Biography VII:254 says George Morton is probable son of Anthony Morton. An ancestral connection through Anthony's parents to the wife of Robert Morton (possibly Alice Markham) leads back to much of Europe's early royalty including kings of Scotland, Wales and Ireland. But is not proven. It seems likely however that George Morton and William Bradford (through his mother) descended from the same Morton family.

Arrived Lynn, MA about 1636. Moved to Sandwich, Plymouth in 1638, where he was a founder. Moved to Marshfield about 1643. A freeman in 1644. Was farmer and blacksmith, but also served as highway surveyor, grand juror and constable. A claim that he descends from royalty has been denied by geneologist Eugene Stratton. His estate administered March 18, 1690.
