Frank Coursen was born in Blairstown, NJ. He was a hardware dealer and salesman most of his life. After leaving NJ, he made his home in West Pittston and Dallas, PA, and later moved to Tunkhonnock, PA. He was owner and operator of the Coursen Hardware Company in Pittston for 30 years. Was a chater member of the Greater Pittston Chamber of Commerce and was it's first president. He was an active member of the Tunkhonnock Presbyterian Church. Since retiring from business 25 years ago, he was employed as a hardware salesman.
