I am currently researching the Shaw family in Texas, starting with Joseph Shaw, who came to Texas in the 1830's or 40's. The line I have traced to myself starts with Joseph Shaw, son-Peter Shaw, Grandson-Lovick Shaw, Great-grandson-Delbert William Shaw Sr., Great, Great-grandson-Delbert William Shaw Jr., to Delbert William Shaw III, my brother. I have found information in Temple, TX, Belton, Tx, Lampasas, Tx, LaGrange, Tx, and Corpus Christi, Tx.

I am also researching information on the Spencer's, my mother's side of the family. Her name was Velma Spencer and she was from Yale, Oklahoma. Her father's name was William E. Spencer, born in the Nebraska territory. His father was Joseph Spencer from Illinois.
