I am researching the MUSSETT surname. Anyplace, anytime. I am trying to map and relate all MUSSETTs. So far I have MUSSETTs in the United States, United Kingdom, Australia and Rhodesia. I believe that the original MUSSETT name was a French Huegonot family that was forced to leave France and ended up in England in the 1500 to 1600s. One branch migrated to the United States in the 1600s when many other Huegonots arrived. From those beginnings in the U.S. they propogated and spread to Kentucky, Missouri, Indiana, Illinois, Arkansas and Texas.
