I am continuing research on the REV. JASON CHRISTOPHER MUSE JR. Family. The family lived in Moore County, North Carolina before moving to Bedford County, Tennessee (1840-1850). In Tennessee, Jason married (1) Elizabeth Ann MUSE and (2) Sarah Elizabeth ORTNER. Seven children were born in Tennessee. The family moved to Webster County, Missouri in about 1870 where three more children were born. I am seeking any information on two of his daughters: Anna 'Annie' M. (Muse) NELSON who married George Robert Nelson (abt. 1906) and her sister Hallia 'Alice' Dora (Muse) MAHONEY (believed to be a twin to Anna). As per the 1927 Obituary of their Brother Jessie William MUSE: Anna/Annie resided in Chicago, Illinois. Hallia 'Alice' resided in Durango, Colorado. RECENTLY (May, 2009), I finally have found Annie! Annie and George Nelson had two children (per the 1910/1930 census) with one child surviving George Andre Nelson. Annie may have been married previously to a ? Reinhart. HALLIA FOUND! She was going by the name 'Alice' (1873-1928). She married three times 1) Joseph Mollett/Malott/Malette/Mallett 2) Dennis Daniel Mahoney, 3) John A. Anderson. She had two children (per the 1910 census) with one child surviving Gertrude Hazel Mollett/Malott/Malette,Mallett who married Regden Slocum Whitson.
