1. EDMUND1 RICE was born 1594 in Sudbury, Suffolk, England/Sudbury, England, and died May 3, 1663 in Marlborough, Meddlesex County, Massachusetts. He married TAMAZINE FROST HOSMER October 15, 1618. She was born Unknown, and died June 13, 1653.

Note by Irene Reese; Edmund Rice (The Deacon also The Pilgrim) resided in Buckingshire, in town of Sudbury, 8 miles north of London. In 1627 was registered in Hertfordshire, soon after came to America. Settled in Massachusetts, founded town of Sudbury in 1638, later also founded town of Marlboro, Massachusetts. The family consisted of six sons and one daughter, one daughter had died and one child was born during the Voyage. Some of the sons had married and brought their families with them.
