Killed by outlaws in Oklahoma Territory 1896 & buried there. When his father, Thomas William Beaty, learned of the death & burial, he went to Oklahoma Territory, dug up his son's body and returned it to Ector, TX, for proper burial in Carson Cemetery. (courtesy Armond Beaty)
