Roscoe Clinton Myers' grandfather Jessie G. Beaty (1820-1895). Born in KY, he made the migration to Peters Colony, TX. Within a year, his young wife and newest born son died of the fever going through the homesteads along White Rock Creek. Jessie returned to Kentucky, but, many years later returned to die in North Texas. (courtesy Armond Beaty)
