I have 7420 individuals in my Family Tree Maker file at this time in the MYLES, VANZANDT, VANDERGRIFT, LEE, MYERS, HENLEY, HILYEN, OWENS AND SCHREIBER families. I would gladly share what I have and am always looking for more information about any of my family or my husband's family members.
I am researching the family of Anthony HILYEN. I do know that he came to Pennsyvania from Germany. According to family legend, he was a second son and didn't wish to join the Church as he was expected to by tradition. He married Esther Matilda BASTION, daughter of Holy BASTION in LYCOMING COUNTY (WILIAMSPORT), PENNSYLVANIA February 22, 1860. They moved to Cherry Valley CASTLE ROCK(Douglas County),Colorado sometime after 1873. They had 6 children, Henry Franklin, Joseph Fredrick, John William, Effa Savalia, James Asher, Mary Catherine and Anthony Jr. The four oldest brothers lived together on the Rocky Ridge Ranch and started a Shorthorn herd carried on by my grandfather and father.

I am also researching the family of David MYLES, son of Thomas and Jeanette MYLES born near ABERDEEN, SCOTLAND Sept 22, 1858. He and later his wife Mary HURD(HERD) and baby daughter JEANETTE came to the HELENA/WINSTON, MONTANA area about 1883.

I am also researching Johannes FISCHER and his second wife Magdelina BURKI. The families came over on a ship together from DEISSBACH zn BERN, SWITZERLAND and when his first wife died, their two sons, John and another son, were taken in and raised by an Amish family in TUSCAWARAS COUNTY. Johannes and Magdelina went to REPUBICAN CITY, INDIANA to continue their family and descendents later settled in the PUEBLO, COLORADO area.
