I have been researching the following family names and connections, most of my family comes from PA, the surnames are Klinetob, Hampton, Pawling, and Hummel. My husband's are Nace, Garver, Krebs, and Bankert, also from PA. Joseph Hampton was a Quaker from Nescopeck, PA. Henry Pawling came to America in 1670 from England. Henry Hummel was a shoemaker and his wife, Elizabeth was a school teacher. Jacob Nace was born 1861, married Elizabeth Myers, but we can't find his parents or where he came from. |
