Nahum Norman Naoum (son of John Nahum Kottas and Victoria Parisi) was born November 11, 1913 in Salonika, Greece, and died July 25, 1992 in Massachusetts. He married Poletimi Spileos on July 23, 1944 in Boston, MA, daughter of Evangelos Spileos and Anastasia Demetreas.

Also aboard the ship was his father (Ioannis Kottas - later John Naoum), Stavros Kottas (Later Stavros or Steve Naoum), and Ourania Kottas (Later Ourania Naoum).
