All of the following trees are in some way interconnected. You can find the links to these trees at the bottom of the page [updated 27 February 2002]: THE DESCENDANTS OF JOHN A. KOSELKE: This family of German descent originated near Witzleben, Poland. Upon arrival in this country, they settled in Wanatah, LaPorte County, IN. Also settling in Wanatah, IN were the descendants of Michael Koselke and his son, John M. Koselke. We believe these families are related, but as yet, have not found the link. If you are a KOSELKE, please contact us. THE DESCENDANTS OF JOHN O'KEEFFE: This family originated in County Waterford, Ireland and were members of the Parish of Modeligo. The family that came to the United States settled in and around Chicago, Illinois. THE DESCENDANTS OF SAMUEL SHIPMAN: Samuel's granddaughter, Lovina (daughter of David) lived with her husband, William Willson, and their family in New York until about 1845 when they moved to LaSalle County, IL. Her brother,Lysander Shipman, was also in LaSalle County, IL for a time. The James Wellington family (her daughter and son-in-law)moved from Utica, LaSalle County, IL to Goodland, IN in 1870. Most of the information I have on the other Shipman families comes from THE SHIPMAN FAMILY IN AMERICA, 1962, by Mrs. Wayne A. Carl, Mrs. Egerton Crispin and Mr. & Mrs. Wm. Shipman, pgs. 618-624. THE DESCENDANTS OF JOEL COYKENDALL: Joel is the son of William Kuykendall and Leah Decker. This line can be traced back to Jacob Luuersen (b. 1616). THE DESCENDANTS OF DANIEL PARKS: Daniel Parks is a descendant of Robert Parke (1580-1665). This line has been traced back many generations to about 1375. We are also researching: KRAMER-GUTZMANN, NASSIOS-STAMPER, ROSE-ANDERSON and OLSEN-TORGESON families. Please contact us with your questions or information.
