Because of my love for history, I have always been interested in my family history. I am proud of the fact that I have ancestors who valiantly fought in the Civil War for both the North and the South and the fact that I have ancestors from the Cherokee Nation. (Is that where our name came from?)

I have benefited from those who have already done work on the Nations' family tree and wish to add to it. I am looking for more information on John and Keziah Nations and Wolfgang Opel. I would also like to work on the Golden side of the tree.
