This page is dedicated to my awesome Dad, who had done all the hard work before I became involved in all this. Thank you for making it easy for me and for having all the questions answered for future generations. Dad I love you so much and hope you are getting a kick out of all this - just as I am - I wish it could keep us going forever. xx 26 Dec 2005 Hello Family This is my first foray into the world of "home pages" so please bear with me. I am sure it will be updated often as more information comes to hand. The purpose of this home page is to share and show an easy to follow path down through my family history. Different circumstances have caused me to become drawn into this fascinating pastime. It has shown me how important it is for us all to document important turns in our lives for example why we moved from one place to another, interesting stories that have shaped who we are etc before it is too late and all forgotten by future generations. Someone will want to know about it all somewhere down the track. So enjoy, and thank you for being interested enough in your own family to be taking the time to look at where we came from. Love Heidi xx :) 25 Jan 2006 Well as you can see things have been moving along here...my family are very used to seeing me at the computer now - at all hours of the day or night! We are back to 1644 down one line. I need photos (family, individual and wedding), hand written notes, certificates - anything you would like placed in the family history. So please email anything you like to me because there is room for anything. I will spend the time putting it together for you, if you take the time to send it to me. And also to my wonderful Great Aunty Frances and my awesome Aunty Faye (who is also great) - our conversations always seem to uncover something new to add - thank you xx On the 28th of October, 2006 My beloved Dad, Maurice Walter Montgomery, passed away after a gallant 2 year struggle with Motor Neurone Disease. His death leaves an enormous hole in our lives but he has left many legacies which take many shapes and forms that will continue to enrich our lives and those of generations to come. Thank you Dad for all the good times that I will treasure forever. This version of Our Family Tree will always be dedicated to you - you who did most of the early work and genuinely loved and cherished your family and saw the importance of all this.
