| I am researching Startup family history and wish to connect my Kansas Startup family with Startups found in other parts of the US. The family immigrated to the US from England in 1800's, probably arriving in New York. It is believed that William and Elizabeth Jefferys Lavender Startup, of Ellenville New York, (born in Kent, England ) were the parents of Charles L. Startup --my great grandfather. Charles moved on to Ohio and then to Illinois before settling in Kansas. I have extensive family history for the Startups of Kansas and wish to connect and receive information from Startup family members and descendents in New York, Illinois, Washington State, Tennessee or wherever. |
