| My Grandfather was Carl W. Nelson of Sweden and my grandmother was Edna W. Hutchinson of Digby, Nova Scotia. They originally settled in the Massachusettes area. Her father was John Major Hutchinson, also of Digby. Carpenters on both sides. Her mother was Alice Augusta Specht who died in 1937 in Bristol Pa. buried in Gloucester , MA. There are numerous New England families who are related to the Hutchinsons. Names like Powers, Comeau, Fields in Maine, Muriel Young, John Moffat or John Moffit's from San Francisco. Abby and Eldon Fields from Maine,John M. Wilkins of MA. and Webster Bray. The Nelson side is more incomplete. My grandfather had 9 brothers and sisters Arthur, Anna, Hannah Semms, Peter, Gottfrid, Albert, Olaf. They were children of Nels or Nils Andersson of Sweden. Any information about this other family lines will be appreciated. |
