| The Nelsons arrived in Virginia in the early 1600's and have now about twelve generations in America. The Nelsons came from the York County, England area and have spread out in many different directions in America. My direct family line moved from Virginia to Tennesse, Kentucky, Illinois, Missouri, Arkansas and now presentlyMichigan.
