I have, in MARCH 2003, over 9,291 names in an extensive genealogy of several families from early America through today. My father's family (Charles D. NETHAWAY, Belton, Missouri)Nethaway - 1725-present, NY, OH, MI, MO(From Thomas Nethaway, b. abt 1711, England); DURFEE, 1600-s - present, RI, NY, OH, MI(From Thomas Durfee of Tiverton, RI)Hicks, 1600's - 1800's, MA, NY, MI(Ffrom Robert HICKS of the ship Fortune, Plymouth, 1621)SPRINKE - 1700's-present, PA, VA, MO(Swiss-German, William Sprinkle, arrived PA about 1740-1750)My mother's family(Betty R. Nethaway, Texas)ROWLAND - 1740's - present, PA, VA, KY, MO, TX(possibly from Casper ROLAND, PA, or from Botetourt Rowland's, VA, 1740's -- still a mystery)PANNELL - 1700's - 1800's, PA, VA, SC, MS, LA, AR, TX(probably from VA Pannell's, definitely through, eventually, Mississippi and to Texas)MARTINDALE - 1680-present, PA, SC, MS, TN, TX(From John Martindell of Philadelphia, time of Wm. Penn)My wife's family (Reuben, Joeseph, Ruby COX of Anderson, SC)Cox - 1700's - present, MD, IL, IN, VA, SC(From Reuben Cox, from Coxes in Rappahannock Valley of VA, then to Anderson/Abbeville area of South Carolina)MULLIKIN - 1600's - present, MD, NC, SC, TX(From early Maryland, then to NC, then to SC, some moved on to Overton, Texas)KELLER - 1600's to present, SC(John W. Keller, b. 1862, looking for earlier, not sure how recent these Keller's are, at least one additional generation backward in SC, probably farther, possibly Orangeburgh Co. SC, still researching this one)RASOR - 1700's to 1800's, NJ, PA, VA, SC(From Christian Rasor, Rev. War, out of NJ or PA, then moved to SC with son Ezekiel, among others, to Abbeville District of SC). In dealing with the family tree, I have discovered many cousins by means of email; these translate to narrative entries, often, in my FTW, and additional twigs along the tree.
