Hi, My name is Jeri and these are a few of my ancesters surnames. I am currently doing research on the Nixons,Sharps and Teels. Our Nixon is Samuel Nixon born in Romney, Hampshire county Virginia 1810. Of course that is West Virginia now. I am looking for Parents and Siblings. Please contact me if you have info. on this family
Iam also trying to find the Teels. George Teel born in Pennsylvania about 1824. Married to an Ursula Jane Craig born in 1827 from Ohio. There is supposed to be Indian ancestry in this family from the Iroquoi Nation. We think on the Teel side. My Grandfather Klein told me a story when I was Sixteen years old about a beautiful Indian Lady the daughter of a Chief. He said she was my Great-Great-Great-Grandmother and how they called her husband Squaw-man when he would go into town. I wished I had listened to Grandfather more often he probably knew it all. He also told me I should be very proud of my ancesters as they had come to this country in Early 1600s right after the Mayflower landed. Thanks for Visiting me. Hoping to find new cousins.

I now have over 2000 names in my file, The family has really grown in this last year. Please look us over hope you find a family member. Some of the names added are Kirkwood,Rush,Crawford, and Ogg. I will be happy to share.
