7. John NEWCOMER ⁽⁵⁾ was born in 1740. He died in 1788.
John Newcomer farmed in Hempfield, Pennsylvania. His property inventory is preseved at the Lancaster County Historical Society.

He was married to Elizabeth GOCHENAUER (daughter of Joseph GOCHENAUER and Elizabeth) in Hempfield, Lancaster, PA. Elizabeth GOCHENAUER^{(5) (25)} died after 1790. Elizabeth Gochenauer was listed in the 1790 census. John NEWCOMER and Elizabeth GOCHENAUER had the following children:

+26 ii. Joseph G. NEWCOMER Senior.
+27 iii. Nancy NEWCOMER.
28 iv. Elizabeth NEWCOMER^{(5) (26)} was born after 1777.⁽⁸⁾
Elizabeth Newcomer was single.
