The Neyenhuis name, also written as Neijenhuis, Neijenhuys, Neienhuis, or Nijenhuis, as well as sometimes Nieuwenhuis, is found all over the world. In one of the oldest records we found a.d. 1368 it was written in latin, as: Nova-Domus, meaning New-Domain, but also translated as New-House. Unconfirmed legend has it that a son of a Russian nobelman was given a purse and was sent west, where he created his "new house". The Neyenhuis coat of arms shows a vertical shield divided in three fields, gold on the sides, blue in the center, demarcated with a silver line between the golds and blue. There is a six pointed golden or yellow (david's)star in the center of the blue bar. The shield is crowned with a closed crowned silver visor, facing forward. Topped with another gold six pointed star.
We are also very intersted in the Wijckelsma ancestry; also known as "van Wijckel", Wickelsma, Wyckelsma and other spellings.
Similarly we are interested in the pursuit of the "Muller" name as related to our family. Our goal is to establish roots for those who are interested in our ancestry, and link kinfolk from all over the world.
