The Doland -Thornton Family Line
Updated July 7, 2003Norman Edward Thornton was born April 5, 1863 in Homer, Michigan and died February 23, 1928 in Tacoma, Washington. He married Louise Anna Doland, June 12, 1893 in Clarendon, Michigan, daughter of John Doland and Elizabeth Shaddick. She was born January 23,1874 in Calhoun County, Michigan and died November 20, 1958 in Baker, Oregon. It is noted that Norman's grandfather married a Blackfoot Native American. His mother, Ann Howard Thornton, was the daughter of General John Howard. |
