The Docwra Family Research Project

I am currently researching the DOCWRA family, as part of the compilation of a one name index of all Docwra's and variants worldwide. I would welcome contact from anyone following similar lines, including any of the variant spellings, from anywhere covering any time. I am trying to trace this fascinating family back to its origins in the north of England in the eleventh century. The database will include parish register entries, state papers entries, cross references to other records, and much more. The aim is to make all data available to Docwra family reseachers and to provide a forum for the exchange and deposition of information. A newletter is also planned, which will provide a further means for researchers to keep in touch. All contacts are welcome and will be answered.
