This has been a joy and a rare privilege to work on this information and it is not nearly finished. From the handwritten information done in a dog studbook by my late Aunt Pat to the fabulous information provided, from the kindness of her heart, by my new friend and relative, Faye, this is not all my own work. There have been many wonderful people through the years that have pointed me in the right direction and have been very generous with their time and information. I have learned so much about my family and what courageous people it took to settle this great country. It had to have taken great courage to leave England, Scotland, Ireland, and Germany to settle in a new and unknown land. I cannot imagine crossing an ocean on a smelly, leaky ship to make a new life!
I am still looking for information on the Nichols, Turner, and Barrow branches of the family. If you have any information, please share it.
As with anything, “Check your facts!” I am not claiming everything is accurate or even spelled correctly! If you have ANY information, comments, or questions, I will appreciate your input.
