* The Bailey, Clarke, Blackwell, Barr Families*

Updated July 28, 2003

The following surnames are of interest to us:
Clark(e)- Northampton, MA early colonial settlers
Blackwell - England to PA
Bailey - Tioga County, PA
Barr - late 1800's immigrants to USA from Scotland
Nichol(l)s - late 1800's immigrant from Penzance to USA to Canada
Ward - Tioga County, PA
Corryell - Reverend Vincent Corryell (ascendents and descendents)

I have much validated information on the descendents of Lieutenant William Clarke, who is in our family tree.

Also, there is a great deal of info. on the Corryell's (of which I have a memoir written about 200 years ago by Rev. Vincent Corryell). Along with several news clips celebrating the 100th and 103rd birthday of one of his daughters, Mrs. Helen Kellogg.

John Barr (Old Man Barr) left Glasgow Scotland around the 1870's after his wife died, leaving behind three young sons. While in New York State he had another son, John. Old Man Barr lived in NYC and the Bronx and at one point owned a saloon as well as a "health farm" outside of the city.
