Ancestors and Descendants of James Nicol and Edna Barlow

My parents were James Nicol (1924 - 2006) and Edna Barlow (1925 - 1980). My father was born near Braemar in the Scottish Highlands, but his family moved to East Grinstead, Sussex when he was about 5 years old. My mother was born in Nyasaland (now Malawi), where her father was a colonial civil servant. Her family moved back to England around 1934, and she met my father at school in East Grinstead.
