I am researching Archibald and Katharine(Baker or Baleer)McKeithen who died in Bladen Co.,North Carolina before 1818. I believe they came from Glasgow, Scotland. I haven't found anything on them.
Thomas and Mary (Starkey)Jackson - Thomas died 1727 in Chester Co. Penn. and Mary in Ireland before 1715. Benjamin (son of Thomas and Mary) and Elizabeth(Clark)Jackson who died before 1782, he in Ga. and she in N.C. Their son was Walter Jackson who died in Wilkes Co., Ga. in 1816, his wife was Mary Chaucey Clark, she died in Autaugaville, Al. at age 93.
Need to find the link between John Hall(1705-1783)and Hugh Hall(1733-1771) of Prince George Co., Va. John's wife was Anne Bolling (1713-1749). Hugh's son is Bolling Hall who was a Congressman from Ga. in the early 1800's and then moved to Autauga Co., Al. where he died in 1818.
Stephen Fowler, born abot 1800 in Union District, South Carolina and died June 13, 1866 married Sarah, looking for connection to Ephriam Fowler, son of Capt. Ellis Fowler (Rev.Soldier). Stephen had 6 children, Caroline (1833-1893) who was married to George Fowler,then Morman, Shelton, Cansady, Susan, and Briant.
John Portis- d. June, 1794 in Nash Co., N.C. married to Sarah. They had 7 children, Ira David (1777-1825)came to Suggsville, Alabama where he died. Ira's wife was Mary Ann Goodwin.
Richard (b.1786) and Lucy B.(Gibbs) Rivers. Married in Johnson Co., N.C. and believed to have died in Suggsville, Alabama.
Solomon Nichols (1785-1768) married Hannah Gregg, born in NC or SC, possible dying in Ga.; Son,Thomas Jefferson Nichols(1814-1877)married to Elizabeth Jane Click (1829-1900). He came to the Birmingham area from Georgia around the mid 1840's. Elizabeth's father was Matthew Moss Click(b.1810)came to Alabama from Tennessee.
Monoe Massey (july, 1863) in Pittsburg, Ga. married to Nellie Fugate (1869)Sequotwich Valley, Tenn.
Thomas Smith(1782-1861)married to Mary Scott(1792-1852)both of Chapel Hill, N.C. and died in Prattville, Alabama
Johannes Burst(1810) of Baden, Germany came to Cincinnati, Ohio and 1830. He married Catherine Oliger and moved to Indiana.
Robert Bird (1745-1821)married to Catherine. He was born in Burke Co., N.C. and they both died in Whitley Co.,Kentuckey. They had a son named Thomas(1783-1863)who was marred to Sally Macy.
Rausel Chatfield (1789-1839) married to Susanna Belknap(1783-1856). Both born in New York, probably Ontario Co.
James Mahan(1755-1839) married to Ann Goodwin(d.1840). He was born in Va. and both died in Livingston Co., Missouri
