Updated September 6, 2000

I am researching the following branches of my family tree:
* SCHOLZ - I have traced the side of the family to Johann Gottlob Scholz and Christiana Charlotte (GIMMLAR). They emigrated to the United States in 1851 from Leuthen, Silesia, Prussia, Germany. They lived in T. Sheybogan County, Wisconsin after coming to the United States and were members of the Lutheran Church.

* KREISSLER - This side of the family has been traced back to Johann Conrad Ludwig Kreissler and Anna Maria (SCHLAPPER). They came from Germany, maybe in the Munchen-Gladbach area, and lived in Lincoln, Missouri while in the United States. They too were members of the Lutheran Church. We are not sure when they came to the United States. They were born in 1819 and 1827 respectively.

Any help in finding more information about them is appreciated.
* CURRAN - Orlena Curran was adopted by Robert Curran and Margaret (BROWN) of Kansas City, Kansas. The natural mother of Orlena is felt to have been the daughter of a Methodist Minister from St. Louis, Missouri. They may have had the last name of DEUSHE. Orlena may have been given up for adoption because her mother was unmarried.

* NICHOLS - Orville and Bertha (BARKER)lived in Appleton City, Missouri. They died in 1985 and 1979 respectively. I am in the process of finding more information from family members about this side of the family tree.

I will be giving more detail on my family tree in the near future. In addition, I will be attaching the file from my Family Tree Maker. Any help in finding information about these branches of my family tree is appreciated.
