Henry was born 08 Mar 1841 in Alabama. He married 1st Mary Elizabeth Sterns and 2nd Sarah Eugenia Baston. He served in the CSA 4th Alabama Infantry. He was the son of William E. and Elizabeth Hanchey Nichols. He died 30 Apr 1883 in Pike County, AL.
