I am researching the family trees of:
Nicholson, Vercoe, MacKay and Staniforth.
I am searching in particular for any details re. Francis Staniforthwho came to Australia in or around 1852 from England.
He married Margaret Shields in 1860 at Sale Victoria (she originated from Glasgow Scotland) his mother was Mary Staniforth of Ivy Cottage in Hackenthorpe England.
Any help forthcoming would be greatly appreciated and reciprocated in kind.
