Nickerson originally came to Massachussetts in the early 1600's. From there part of the family headed to New York. (This is where I have a missing link.) Edward Nickerson, Great Grandfather lived near Buffalo New York and his son, Lester, moved to California in the 1930's. I need more information on Nickerson's in New York in the 1800's. Hall is my maiden name and I can trace our lineage to from England to New York and then during the gold rush to San Francisco. Josiah Hall moved to Sonora and had a son, Henry. I would like to know more about our English roots. |
