I am researching my husband's family as well as my own. This includes Cornelius Nicholson, Lemmonds,William W. Holliday,and Anderson Asberry Sanders.My information has come from talking to family members, researching census at my local library, contacting family members who have done tons of research themselves, and searching the internet.
Anything you can add will be very helpful. These families ended up in Upshur Co., Texas.

  • The Cornelius "Neill" Nicholson Family (13 KB)
    Cornelius and Hannah Ellerbe m. in Marlboro Co.,SC in 1839. Then bet. 1850-1860, they moved with their family to Kemper Co., MS. After the Civil War, abt. 1870, they moved with their son, Alexander "Sandy" and his wife, Henrietta McCoy Nicholson, to Upshur Co., Tx.
