This memorial is in an Omro cemetery on Highway 21, just west of Oshkosh. Here rest James Volney Bartow's young wife, Permelia (1847-1870), and two daughters, Cora (1866-1867)and Laura (April 1869-October 1869). Life can't have been easy. James V. eventually moved to Long Beach, California.
